SenionLab – one of the hottest high tech-companies in Sweden receives the Jumpstart award

Yesterday, Senionlab received the Jumpstart award from Teknikföretagen and Veryday during the finale of the 33-list. The Linköping based company was also placed on the prestigious list for the first time, which is annually compiled by Ny Teknik and Affrsvrlden. The purpose is to present the 33 most promising young Swedish high tech-companies, each with the potential of becoming a major player in the future. This year 200 companies were nominated to the list.

Senionlab introduces a revolutionary technology for indoor navigation that radically improves the navigation performance in areas were traditional GPS systems are not available. The system has been launched in 80 malls throughout the world, but the ability to accurately position persons or equipment can be applied to anything from advertisement to improving internal company processes.

“Today we are working in 15 different market segments covering everything from hospitals to warehouses, and from conferences and fairs to security applications. In each one of these segments we are working with some of the biggest players in the world and new applications are being added every week”, says the CEO Christian Lundquist. “Being placed on such a prestigious list as the 33-list is of course rewarding and inspiring and receiving the Jumpstart award is a great honor and gives us the opportunity to further improve our products”, says the CEO Christian Lundquist further.

To qualify for the 33-list, a company must be based on innovative technology, not being publicly traded, not older than 7 years and it must be operating out of Sweden.
